Trinidad Bay is located in very Northern California.
Trinidad, California is about:
- 6 hours North of San Francisco, CA
- 3.5 hours North of Ukiah, CA
- .5 hour North of Eureka, CA
- 20 minutes North of Arcata, CA
- 10 minutes North of McKinleyville, CA
- 3 hours West of Redding, CA
- 4 hours South of Coos Bay, OR
- 7 hours South of Portland, OR
Local Directions:
- Take HWY 101 to Trinidad
- Take the Trinidad exit
- Turn West at the stop sign
- Wind your way through town until you pass The Eatery and come to a stop sign.
- You will have gone as far West as you can go without driving into the ocean. As you face the famous Trinidad Lighthouse, you will be overlooking the harbor below and the Pacific Ocean beyond.
- Turn right and follow the road down the hill to the parking lot.
- There is free parking in the lot.
- Check in at the Boat Basin to pick up a fishing license and any last minute supplies. Restroom facilities are also available at the pier.
